I remember when I was little, playing with a cardboard box was a huge fun. Sometimes I pretended it as my house where I cook and have afternoon tea. Sometimes it was a ship and I was the captain - we were having our great journey leading to exciting adventures. It was always sad when adults threw those boxes away. Now I am in the US, and have lots of chances to get boxes - thanks to online shopping. However, since there is little storage space in my apartment, and I no longer play with cardboard boxes (yes I grew up now), the boxes end up in the trash can or recycling bin.
A couple who lives in UK decides to do something different with the cardboard boxes - instead of throwing them away, they use the boxes to create scenes in the movies. Not only they themselves play the characters in the movies, their son and the toy bear are also part of the scene. Mark and I are impressed by their creativity, and we always look forward to their weekly update at cardboardboxoffice. My favorite one so far is the scene from the Matrix. However, their taste of movies seems to be quite different from mine - I haven't heard of or seen most of the movies from which the scenes they created.
