不知道大家對於交友網站的想法如何？來到米國後，聽到好幾個透過交友網站認識交往進而結婚的例子；同時對米國人而言，很有可能成長求學都在不同的州，而工作的公司是在某個無名小鎮，此時交友網站真是最實際的認識朋友管道了！不過怎樣才能在茫茫網海眾多人群中脫穎而出，找到理想的另一半？透過自身經驗，聰明獨立熱愛工作的Amy告訴你如何在不隱藏個人特質迎合他人的同時，策略性地成為交友網站人氣王，並找到她生命的白馬王子！

What?  It's Friday already!  Time to post a new entry again!

This week I spent all my time and effort on searching and thinking about my research ideas.  I feel very satisfied with my work.  On the other hand, my life is just as flat as it can be, nothing special to share.  In order to maintain my good record of one entry per week, I am going to use a TED talk to update my blog again.

What do you think about dating sites?  I have heard several cases of married couples meeting through dating sites, since I came to the US.  Moreover, it is very likely that people grow up in their home state, go to colleges in another state, and move to a small town for work in another state.  Hence dating sites are the most practical and quickest way to meet people when in a new environment.  But how can you stand out from the crowd and find your ideal one?  In her talk, Amy, an independent, smart and hard working female, shared her dating site experience - how she strategically became the most popular person without hiding her true self, and the journey that lead her to her Prince Charming.
