Space Oddity (David Bowie + Kristen Wiig)

上次分享的The wolves and the ravens在電影白日夢冒險王中帶出充滿希望的結尾，Space Oddity則是劇情重要轉折的配樂，也是這部電影配樂中我最愛的歌曲之一。

雖然女主角說這是描述航向未知、充滿勇氣的歌曲，但其實結尾很悲傷，在勇氣之外總是帶給我淡淡的哀愁。

除了已經介紹的兩首電影歌曲，這部片其他配樂也都相當好聽。片頭的Step Out暗示了影片的主題 – 擁抱改變、擁抱生活，也非常稱職的營造電影氣氛。

用白日夢冒險王做為2014年初的第一部片，未來這一年的生活似乎也將充滿希望地向前邁進。

Stop dreaming, start doing.

The wolves and the ravens, the song I shared couple weeks ago, hinted the hopeful ending in the movie The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.  Space Oddity, on the other hand, is the music played when at the turning point of the plot.  It is also one of my favorite songs in the film.

In the movie Cheryl said this is a song about courage and going into unknown.  The ending of Space Oddity, on the contrary, is very sad.  It always brings me a bitter feeling other than motivation.  I still like it though.

In addition to the two songs I shared, other musics in this film are wonderful too.  Step Out, which was used at the beginning of the film, implied the theme of the movie: embrace change, embrace life.

With The Secret Life of Walter Mitty as my first film at the beginning of 2014, my life this year also seems to be hopeful.
