中文歌曲對我而言，充滿意境的歌詞比優美的旋律更能吸引我；歌詞若只是無病呻吟歌曲就好似少了靈魂似的。不過聽英文歌曲時，只要旋律好聽我就能愉快享受，歌詞一知半解就罷了。但若這首歌能進一步吸引我上網搜尋歌詞跟著哼唱，那就一定要在部落格跟大家分享。
The Head and the Heart有不少好聽的歌曲，shake無疑是我的最愛。人生就如同歌詞描寫的，朋友來來去去，總是有分道揚鑣的時候。爽快地道別離，並非不在意，而是把握當下、所有共同分享的快樂時光深印腦海中，珍貴的回憶永不消失。
或許是在異鄉待久了，加上今天買了Tim Hortons的甜甜圈，別有感觸吧。

When listening to Chinese songs, a well written lyric is more important to me than a catchy melody. If the lyric is murmering about nothing, the song is like having no soul. When listening to English songs, however, I don't really make the effort to understand the lyrics - I can enjoy the song as long as the melody is good. If the song makes me google the lyric and sing along, then I have to share it on my blog.
The Head and the Heart has many good songs, Shake, undoubtfuly, is my favorite. In the journey of our life, as described in the lyric, friends come and go, and we all have to say goodbye at certain point. However, saying goodbye doesn't mean that we don't care. Instead, we know that it is more important to enjoy the moment, and all the memories will be treasured deeply in our heart.
Maybe it is because I have stayed away from hometown for a long time, or it is because of the donuts from Tim Hortons that evokes me the special feeling about Shake.
