電影是我生活中不可或缺的娛樂。來到米國、尤其一個人住後，看電影的次數更是大幅增加。我一直好奇：一個人一輩子到底可以看多少電影？而我一年又看多少電影？這樣是多還是少？藉由年度電影回顧，我想，對這些無聊的問題多少有些答案吧。
首先，來推薦2012年獲得我本人五顆心大力推薦的片子：
三個傻瓜3 Idiots
我沒有很愛寶萊塢的歌舞場景，不過這部片的確是部好片，劇情偶爾有點多餘冗長（長達三小時啊），但仍不掩其為印度最賣座電影之一的風采！
發條橘子A Clockwork Orange
史丹利庫柏利克的經典作品。二手DVD價格也比其他片子貴。沒有血腥的場景，但故事走向並不令人感到舒服。結局出乎意料，頗令人深思。推薦想要看嚴肅作品的觀眾。
分居風暴A Separation
每個人的生命中，都有無法排解的難題。很真實，也很令人難過的一部伊朗電影。
第凡內早餐Breakfast at Tiffany's
奧黛莉赫本的作品。雖是愛情故事，但不同於龍鳳配或羅馬假期的夢幻，浪漫中也摻有現實的成分。我還蠻喜歡的。
奇愛博士Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb
史丹利庫柏利克的另一經典名作。相較於發條橘子，同樣發人深思，但奇愛博士呈現方式比較輕鬆，我也比較喜歡這部。
充氣娃娃之戀Lars and the Real Girl
看過了日片空氣人形，對這部片的背景設定並不感訝異。雷恩葛斯林在這部片中飾演內向不喜且不善與人交際的宅男，大大顛覆我對他的印象！
曾經。愛是唯一Once
很平實的一部愛爾蘭電影，不過我很喜歡這部片的音樂。看完後有淡淡的憂傷和感動。
客製化女神Ruby Sparks
這我真是大力推薦，完全超乎我預期的一部佳作！劇情輕快明暢，有歡笑、有悲傷，但又充滿希望，可是我的2012年度最佳電影！
大藝術家The Artist
作為幾乎沒有台詞的電影，要能夠吸引觀眾一個半小時的注意力，就可以知道劇情多精采有趣！
Movies have always been the most important entertainment in my life. Living in the US and by myself greatly increase the chance of watching movies (well since I have more time slots to fill in.) I am always curious about how many movies a person can watch in his entire life? and how many I watch every year? Is it a lot, or not? By reviewing the movies I watched in the past year, I guess I can somewhat find the answer.
First, let me talk about the movies that I truly enjoyed and highly recommend:
3 Idiots
I don't always enjoy the music and dance in Bollywood films. However, this is a really great movie. The plot is a bit too long and redundant - it is a three-hour movie, but you won't find the three hours wasted.
A Clockwork Orange
A Stanley Kubrick's classic film. Even the used DVD is more expensive than other films. There were no bloody scenes, but still not a pleasant story. The ending of the story was quite surprising, and thought provoking. Recommend to audience who want serious movies.
A Separation
Everyone has their own difficulties in their lives. A very real, and very sad Iranian movie.
Breakfast at Tiffany's
Unlike the romantic fantasy in Sabrina or Roman Holiday, Breakfast at Tiffany's told us a love story of one poor couple, which instead, made me love this film more.
Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb
Another classic work by Stanley Kubrick. This film is also thought provoking, but more humorous, comparing to A Clockwork Orange. Hence I like this film better.
Lars and the Real Girl
Since I watched the Japanese film Air Doll before, the setting of this movie is not new to me. However, I was surprised by Ryan Gosling acting as a delusional guy in this movie, which is totally different from his role in Crazy Stupid Love.
Once
This is a simple Irish film without any fancy movie shooting technique, yet it touches your heart. I also enjoyed the music.
Ruby Sparks
I would highly recommend this film, which was totally beyond my expectation! It is funny, sad, but also full of hope. My favorite movie of 2012.
The Artist
I really enjoyed this film a lot. The plot was beyond my expectation, and the storyline was quiet interesting as well, even though this is nearly a silent film.
