This is my third time, Mark's first time visiting Tokyo. In our two-and-half-day stay in Tokyo, we just rested in the morning, and left the apartment for sight seeing around noon. Hence we didn't see much. In addition, we stopped, sat, and had some snacks whenever we saw a dessert store that we were interested in. Overall it was a trip without any plans.
I really like the buildings on Omotesando. They are full of characteristics.

An interesting area near Omotesando with lots of small shops or food vendors.

The tourist center locates conveniently right across Senso-ji. It provides currency exchange service and free access to bathrooms. We went there twice to get Japanese Yen for souvenir shopping at the last day. In addition, the view from its observatory deck is wonderful.

Cindy introduced us the dorayaki, a dessert sandwich which consists of Azuki red bean paste fillings between two small pancake, from Kameju. It looked just OK to me, but the first bite made me realized how soft and delicious the pancakes were. I never knew that dorayaki can be so tasty! Personally I think white bean paste is better than the traditional red bean paste.

Kaminarimon is a must see for tourists.

Very cute Snoopy donut from Mister Donut!

I enjoyed the night view from Tokyo City View.

Everyone kept asking me what Mark thought about Asia. It was difficult to draw in-depth analysis from such a short stay. From what I observed, food and flavors was just OK to him - after all it is highly related to personal preference. However, there were two things that he really likes:
1. The heated wooden floor in Cindy's apartment. I like it a lot as well! I usually get cold feet easily. With the heated floor, my feet weren't cold anymore. In addition, the clothes will be warm as well if I leave them on the floor.
2. The layout of the bathroom. In Japan, shower/bath and toilet rooms are separated. In the shower room, there is another door separating the bath/shower area and the sink. You leave your clothes in the sink room, and then walk into the shower area.
BTW, Mark tried the first bite of pork tongue in his life.
Finally, thanks Cindy for providing accommodation and being such a great tour guide!
